Free Pattern: Barnaby Oliver Bear

I was asked to make a bear for someone's Special Someone, and this is what I came up with. Now you can make one for your own special someone!

Barnaby Oliver Bear measure ~8 1/2" in height. He is made in the continuous round. Please read the pattern in full before beginning. Feel free to contact me for any questions you may have.

Materials:
G/4.25mm Hook
WW yarn in Brown
WW yarn in Tan
WW yarn in Black OR safety bear nose
Safety eyes(optional)
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Fiber fill or other filling material

Eyes Make 2 in Tan.
Round 1: 8sc in Magic Circle (8)
F/O, leaving tail for sewing.
If you're using safety eyes, prepare the eyes by placing the safety eyes through in desired location.

Muzzle In Tan.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
Round 2: *sc in next st, 2sc in next st* around (9)
F/O, leave tail for sewing.

Ears Make 2 in Brown.
Round 1: 8sc in Magic Circle (8)
Round 2-3: sc around (8)
F/O, leaving, tail for sewing

Head & Body In Brown
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle
Round 2: 2sc in each st around (12)
Round 3: *sc in next st, 2sc in next st* around (18)
Round 4: *sc in next 2 st, 2sc in next st* around (24)
Round 5: *sc in next 3 st, 2sc in next st* around (30)
Round 6-11: *sc around (30)
Round 12: *sc2tog, sc in next 3 st* around (24)
Round 13: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 st* around (18)
Round 14: *sc2tog, sc in next 4 st* around (15)
Round 15: *sc in next 4 st, 2sc in next st* around (18)
Place eyes, nose, muzzle, and ears (if desired). Begin stuffing head now, stuff body as you go.
Round 16-22: *sc around* (18)
Round 23: *sc2tog, sc in next st* around (12)
Round 24: *sc2tog* around (6)
F/O, leaving tail for gathering last round, and weaving in.
Arms Make 2 in Brown.
Round 1: 6sc in Magic Circle (4)
Round 2-7: sc around (6)
F/O, leaving tail for sewing. Stuff lightly, or leave unstuffed.

Legs Make 2 in Brown.
Round 1: sc8 in Magic Circle (8)
Round 2: sc around (8)
Round 3: *sc2tog, sc in next 2 st* (6)
Round 4-8: sc around (6)
F/O, leaving tail for sewing. Stuff lightly, or leave unstuffed.

Assembly
Attach open end of arms and legs to sides and bottom.
Attach open end of tail to bottom.
If not using safety eyes, embroider pupils on with worsted weight yarn.
Embroider mouth with black worsted weight yarn, or embroidery thread.
