It's been a very long time since I've crocheted, let alone created a pattern. But inspiration struck while considering a gift for a friend, and of course I couldn't find a pattern for what I wanted to make. So here's our favorite SCP, The Tickle Monster!

E/3.5mm Hook
WW yarn in orange
WW yarn in black
10mm safety eyes
Scissors
Yarn Needle
Polyfil or filling material

Body:
1. 6sc in Magic Circle (6)
2. 2sc in each st around (12)
3. *2sc in next st, sc in next st* around (18)
4. *2sc in next st, sc in next 2 st* around (24)
5. *2sc in next st, sc in next 3 st* around (30)
6-17. sc in each st around (30)
Attach eyes between r8 and r9.
Embroider mouth.
18. *sc2tog in blo, sc 3 in blo* around (24)
19. *sc2tog, sc in next 2 st* around(18)
stuff
20. *sc2tog, sc in next st* around (12)
21. sc2tog around (6)
F/O and close. Weave in ends.
Attach yarn to FLO of last stitch of rnd 21, *SC in nxt 4, 5dc in next* around. Sc in remaining st, slst to first st.

I KNOW this is late, and theres a high chance this isnt seen, but im having trouble with the final step of the body
ReplyDeleteThe area where you reattach the yarn in the front loop? I see there's a mistake - you should reattach at round 18 instead of round 24.
DeleteMine looks NOTHING like the little guy, feets wise. Still cute but i feel like it did it completely wrong
